EU Citizens Support Service
Citizens Advice Edinburgh (CAE) has a team of volunteer advisors across 5 locations providing support and advice to empower people to resolve issues that are impacting their lives, and this includes the EU Settlement Scheme.
Thousands of EU Nationals in Edinburgh and the Lothians are relying on independent and impartial advice and support to help them to understand their options for remaining in the UK post-Brexit. With this uncertainty, CAE has appointed two dedicated EU Citizen Support advisers who are enabling those with complex barriers to complete an application. Specialist help is available for those who have difficulty getting online, gathering evidence needed to apply, are at greater risk due to personal circumstances or have specific immigration or residency issues.
Support is available face-to-face at local bureaux and through the free National EU support helpline available Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on 0800 916 9847.
