The Alma Project
The Alma Project aims to improve mental health and well-being through the use of the arts as a therapeutic benefit for good mental health.
The Alma Project provides a range of arts, education, social and therapeutic support, groups and activities to promote positive mental health and well-being.
The groups give people a chance to feel part of a safe and supportive community, to build relationships and to have a sense of purpose and structure in their lives. Groups are normally 2-hour sessions that people can attend each week. Groups such as open studio art groups, creative writing and mixed media groups based on a theme are often on offer.
