Scots Music Group

Scots Music Group is a charity with a strong ethos of community-building, using traditional music, song and dance to bring people together.

They actively support and encourage their students to gain the skills and confidence to take their music into their own communities.

As well as offering weekly classes in traditional music and song they support regular sessions, performances and ceilidhs.

Café Ceilidh at Scottish Story Telling centre

Café Ceilidh is a friendly free day-time traditional music, song,  poem and story session. Singers and musicians from SMG non-SMG folk who would like to perform are most welcome. Bring a turn and join in! If you would prefer to listen you are very welcome too.
