Daycare clubs are available throughout the week. There are five clubs avaialblefor various age ranges. Transport to and from th eclubs can be provided.
The Groups program aims to provide support for people with mental ill health. The program aims to increase independence and develop coping strategies.
Visiting Service: PEP provides a visiting service for people who normally live on their own and are returning home after a stay in hospital. Our visitor makes contact with the service user in hospital and arranges to visit on a regular basis when they return home. This will continue until they feel able to get involved in the wider community once again. We can also provide assistance at this stage in these matters.
We also provide a visiting service for people who are housebound. This service aims to alleviate the isolation experienced by people who can’t get out. Our trained and skilled volunteers visit on a regular weekly basis and provide companionship. The visitors can also help by providing information on activities happening around the area.
The Weekend Resource is a friendly centre, open at weekends for local people aged 50 and over. The Resources offers lunch and a range of activities. We offer learning opportunities such as Digital Photography and how to use a computer. Other activities include musical entertainment. We organise outing’s to places of interest or a shopping trips. The participants manage the flower beds in PEP’s Community Garden, designing the layout and upkeep of them.
