North West Recovery Service

The North West Recovery Service is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults in North West Edinburgh. 

Service Description

The service provides one-to-one support, recovery planning, group-work, access to medical services and harm reduction interventions for adults in North West Edinburgh.

New clients are welcomed so please get in touch if you are interested in getting help from the service or you’d just like to ask some questions. Feel free to bring someone with you on your first visit.

The North West Recovery Service offers:

  • 1:1 key working and recovery planning
  • support accessing medical interventions
  • dry blood spot testing for BBVs
  • naloxone training and provision
  • support accessing rehabilitation services, counselling, family support, training
  • financial inclusion: benefits, debt, budgeting, energy issues
  • group work
  • social events

There is a drop-in for individuals looking for help with alcohol or other drugs –
