Edinburgh Support Services
The service provides housing support to individuals, support is focused on enabling people to make choices relating to their lives and living in the community using a flexible and varying approach. The service is staffed with a Service Manager, Team Leader, Senior Support Worker and a team of Support Staff, who provide support 7 days per week.
Individual service users have an appointed key worker. This is agreed between staff and service users and is regularly reviewed in order to maintain effective working partnerships. An agreed route to appropriate support provision and achievement of goals and aims is negotiated jointly and formalised within a support plan. Support provision covers a wide spectrum from very practical needs to intense emotional support varying with the needs of the individual service user.
