North East Edinburgh Independent Living Service
The North East Edinburgh Independent Service (NEEILS) provides community based living and support as an alternative to hospital based care, for people who have enduring mental health problems.
The service provides independent living skills support with daily living skills, health and safety and becoming more involved in their local community.
NEEILS is a partnership involving SAMH, NHS Lothian, City of Edinburgh Council Social Work and Dunedin Canmore Housing Association.
Intended Client Groups:
- People Experiencing Mental Health Difficulties
This service is available to residents of all parts of Edinburgh
Applicants for this service should also meet this condition:
Referrals through the Community Rehabilitation Social Work Team at REH
This service accepts direct self referrals.
Through the Community Rehabilitation Social Work Team at RE and Social Workers.
This service is available by appointment only.
