LifeCare – The Dean Club

The Dean Club is a registered care centre for older people who are aged 65 or above. It offers a safe and friendly place to those who enjoy company and may be becoming a bit more frail,  and to those who feel a bit isolated and would like to get out the house more.

The Dean club is run by LifeCare, formerly Leith Age Concern. The ethos of the organisation is to support the independence of older people and we do this through day care services and also services in the home. Our client groups are the frail elderly and those with dementia.

What happens at The Dean Club?

There are lots of activities on offer and people have told us they particularly enjoying music and singing. From time to time we also offer trips and other special activities.

There are meals available throughout the day, with tea and toast in the morning and a choice of meals at lunch time.

The Dean Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Transport is available to and from the centre within certain areas.

For full details about the Dean Club, see the leaflet.
