Homelessness Services (Edinburgh Council)
All local councils have legal duties towards people who are homeless. This page explains how Edinburgh Council can help and the types of assistance they can offer. Anyone who believes they might be homeless is entitled to make an application for assistance from their local council.
If you have nowhere to stay or are at risk of losing your house, staff can help by going over your housing options. This help may include

- temporary accommodation
You can drop in during working hours or make an appointment to speak to someone at any Neighbourhood office or the Housing Options Team, 1a Parliament Square, Edinburgh, EH1 1RF. Tel – 0131 529 7368
