Family Advice and Information Resource (FAIR)
FAIR (Family Advice and Information Resource) is an information and advice service for people with learning disabilities, their parents, carers, and people who work with them in Edinburgh.
FAIR are independent, and provide free confidential expert advice on Welfare rights.
FAIR can arrange a one to one meeting to make sure you are getting all the money and benefits you should be. They can also can help with disability living allowance forms and claims for other benefits. FAIR information officers can also help with appeals for benefits.
FAIR also produce free information guides on a range of topics. There include:
- Universal Credit
- Opening a Bank Account
- DLA to PIP
- Attending a Medical
- FAIR Cookbook
- Preparing for Your Death
- When Someone Has Died

- People Experiencing Mental Health Difficulties
This service is available to residents of all parts of Edinburgh
This service accepts direct self referrals.
