Breathing Space Phoneline
Breathing Space is a free, confidential phone and web based service for people in Scotland experiencing low mood, depression or anxiety.
Anyone can feel down or depressed from time to time. It helps to get some Breathing Space. You are not alone and talking about how you feel is a positive first step in getting help. Breathing Space offers confidential listening support, from where experienced advisors who will listen and provide information and advice.

Lines are open: Monday to Thursday 6.00pm – 2.00am, and at the Weekend from Friday 6.00pm to Monday 6.00am
The service is open when other supports such as family, friends or a GP may not be available. You can speak about what’s on your mind or ask about helpful resources in your area. The service is confidential and anonymous and none of your conversation is recorded. It is designed to be a private, safe space to talk.
It’s understandable that some callers might feel nervous about picking up the phone and may not know what to expect.
Support is provided though the phone line only. For admin enquiries, ordering leaflets etc, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and your email will be responded to within 5 working days.

This service accepts direct self referrals.
