Feniks support people from the Polish population living in Edinburgh.

They hold regular conversation cafes, for people who have moved here from overseas. These events are a great way to:
• meet others you might not usually meet
• expand your language skills
• share stories, experiences & ideas
• develop new insights
• build friendships
• gain confidence
• learn about your local area
• and feel more at home in Leith.

The conversations are gently guided so that everyone has a chance to speak and be heard, no matter how many words of English they know.

The conversation cafes take place in Leith, and are mainly aimed at people from overseas who are living in Leith, though all are welcome to attend. It’s free to attend and you don’t need to book.
