The Women in Self Help & Emotional Support (WISHES)

The Women in Self Help & Emotional Support (WISHES) group is for women with emotional and / or mental health difficulties who would benefit from meeting other women like themselves in a relaxed and informal setting.

The aim of the group is to provide support to each other by attending on a regular basis and participating in the activities that are offered. The group is supported by a worker employed through Southside Community Centre but members are encouraged to be actively involved.

Wishes meets once a week on a Thursday at Southside Community Centre at 1pm until 3pm.

Ideally women attend a cuppa and chat and if there’s no space available, can go on a waiting list.
