Support Group – A Life Worth Living

The A Life Worth Living group aims to provide hope through creating safe spaces to support and encourage others, by meeting both as a group and online.

The group is for people affected by depression or low mood, and who and want to make a shift from the darkness of despair to the lightness of hope.

The focus of the group is:

  • To reach out to people who are isolated,
  • To play a part in changing perceptions of mental health and addiction problems in society,
  • To make connections with other organisations to offer more choice to individuals,
  • To help people build up their strengths and interests.

The group meets at Simpson House, every Thursday from 10.15 am – 12.00 pm for a discussion, then from 12.00 – 12.30 pm for lunch. Simpson House is at 52 Queen Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3Ns

You can read more about the group here: www.alifeworthliving.blog/about-2/

Due to the success of the group we have had to temporarily close the group to new members and are looking at other ways to accommodate numbers.
