The Homeless World Cup uses football to inspire and support homeless people. It operates through a network of more than 70 National Partners across Europe. An annual international football tournament for national teams of homeless men and women takes place in a different city every year. Last year this took place in Glasgow, and the 2017 event will be in Oslo, Norway.

Street Soccer are now planning trials for men and women, to play in this year’s team to represent Scotland at the event to be held in Oslo, in August.

The trials will be on Tuesday 28 March from 1 – 3pm, at Portobello Powerleague, Westbank Street, Edinburgh, EH15 2DR.

These are open to anyone who is homeless, or has experienced homelessness.
