A new online support group is starting for young people affected by an Eating Disorder and are going through or thinking about a transition. Transitions refer to a time of change in life which may include facing challenges and new experiences, this might be when a person with an eating disorder:

• Moves between services e.g. Child and Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS), or inpatient to outpatient,
• Leaves services
• Is adapting to major life changes e.g. leaving school, starting university, work or living independently.

The groups are for young people aged 14 to 25. There are also separate groups for parents and carers living in, or with a young person living in Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Each group will run for 6 weeks with one session a week. Sessions will run for approximately one hour. The first groups start:

Young People’s Transition Group
Starting 29th March Tuesdays from 5.30pm – 6.30pm;

Parents/Carers Transition Group
